People on TikTok Are Bragging About Not Leaving the Hurricane Evacuation Zone

As Hurricane Milton approaches, everyone and their mother has been trying to get the people who are currently in its path to get the hell out of the state. Thankfully, this has been fairly effective, with streets full of people attempting to get as far away from Florida as possible.
Unfortunately, with something like this, there will always be some who insist that they’ll be able to handle it. And, given that we’re in the age of social media, these people have taken to services like TikTok to brag about the fact that their homes are about to become piles of drywall and 2x4s.
Why? I don’t know — sheer hubris, I guess — but here’s what some of those videos look like:
